Server law,
in full.

We, the players of Manja SMP, in order to ensure domestic civility and the fair growth of the server, do hereby ordain and establish a Constitution.

Article I

Section 1

Citizens shall have the right to purchase land in accordance with policy set by appropriate legislation.

Owners shall have the right to impose and enforce appropriate legislation within their jurisdiction.

Owners shall not impose laws which are deemed to be in conflict with laws established by the Central Government.

Citizen chartered governments shall be henceforth referred to as Territorial Governments.

Section 2

Territorial Governments shall pass no law abridging the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, or the right of the citizenry to peacefully assemble and petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Section 3

No Government shall pass any law restricting the citizenry’s ability to conduct unrestricted Player vs Player conflict in unchartered lands, withstanding all applicable provisions within this Constitution.

Section 4

Notwithstanding the provisions in section 3, Breach of the Peace and behaviors deemed to be Nuisance behaviors are considered an infraction punishable with a maximum of up to a 10 day temporary suspension.

Section 5

Notwithstanding the provisions within section 2, speech or communication deemed to be Nuisance behavior shall be considered an infraction punishable with a maximum of up to a 10 day temporary suspension.

Section 6

Notwithstanding the provisions in section 4 and 5, violations within this Article deemed to be Habitual Offenses shall be penalized as Capitol Offenses, and shall be punishable with a maximum penalty of permanent banishment.

The term “Habitual Offense” shall constitute any crime committed where the offender should have the understanding of the illegality of their offense, and have committed the act twice or more.

Section 7

Citizens shall have the right to vote in Server Elections and the right to participate in State business within the confines of appropriate legislation.

Section 8

Citizens shall have the right to own and hold Chattle.

The theft or destruction of Chattle without the express consent of its owner shall be considered an infraction punishable with a maximum of up to 5 days temporary suspension.

Chattle for the purposes of this section is defined as small property, such but not limited to food, weapons, and other personal effects or devices.

Section 9

Governments shall have the inherent right to dictate the use of lands within their jurisdiction through appropriate legislation.

No Government shall take private property for public or its own use, without just compensation.

Article II

Section 1

The intentional destruction or alteration of property, whether public or private, without the explicit consent of its governor shall be considered unlawful. This section includes any behaviour that is deemed to be Griefing.

The term “governor” shall, for the purposes of this section, be defined as the entity which legally holds dominion over the property in question.

Section 2

Violations of section 1 and the provisions therein shall be considered and prosecuted as a Capitol Offense and may result in up to a maximum penalty of permanent banishment from the server.

Section 3

Exploits, hacks, and other tactics deemed to be underhanded are forbidden. Violations of this act shall be considered an infraction and shall be punishable with up to a 10 day temporary suspension.

Section 4

Notwithstanding the provisions in section 3, violations within this Article deemed to be Habitual Offenses shall be penalized as Capitol Offenses, and shall be punishable with a maximum penalty of permanent banishment.

Article III

Section 1

The discussion, advocacy, or mention, whether directly or of a derivative nature, of the concept known as the Angel Project shall be considered an infraction and shall be punishable with a maximum of up to 10 days temporary suspension.

Section 2

The act of harboring assets, replicating symbols, or executing directives determined to be associated with, whether directly or of a derivative nature, to the Angel Project shall be considered an infraction and shall be punishable with a maximum of up to 10 days temporary suspension.

Section 3

Notwithstanding the provisions in section 1 and 2, violations within this Article deemed to be Habitual Offenses shall be penalized as Capitol Offenses, and shall be punishable with a maximum penalty of permanent banishment.

The term “Habitual Offense” shall constitute any crime committed where the offender should have the understanding of the illegality of their offense, and have committed the act twice or more.

Article IV

Section 1

The Central Government Shall have the power to amend or expand the provisions of the Constitution herein through appropriate legislation.
